At the southern end, two charming islands enhance the landscape, surrounded by sandy bays with a gravel-type bottom. After lying dormant for nine years, the area was reopened in 2023, boasting a newly constructed cabin situated close to the lake level for easy access, eliminating the need to navigate a hill. The cabin comfortably accommodates 4 to 6 guests and provides an excellent base for fishing expeditions, thanks to the 14-foot Naden boats equipped with 6 hp 4-stroke Mercury motors. The location is particularly noted for its beautiful bay filled with weed beds and deep fishing holes, ideal for catching Northern Pike. Additionally, the lake offers superb fly-in walleye fishing, with fish typically weighing between 2 and 3 pounds.
